How can I place an order?

Where are you located?

We have recently relocated to Los Angeles, but we are not a storefront.  All products are made to order so unfortunately we don’t offer same day treats!  Please contact us to place an order

 

How far in advance should I place my order?

Orders should be placed 3-4 weeks prior to the date needed.  All cookies are made to order and require time to make and decorate. While some orders can be done quickly, others with more detail may require much more time so please plan accordingly! 

 

During busy times such as the holidays, orders should be placed at least 1 month ahead of time as well as large corporate orders. We always try to squeeze in last minute orders so please reach out and we’ll see if we can get you in!  

 

Is there an order minimum?

For individual cookies there is a 2 dozen minimum.  For the sets/platters those are pre-fixed numbers and can be ordered as listed.  For any mini size cookies there is a 3 dozen minimum.

For cupcakes there is a 2 dozen minimum for standard size and a 3 dozen minimum for minis.

For pull-apart cupcake cakes there is a 25 cupcake minimum.

 

How are the cookies packaged?

Cookies come packaged in a cellophane bag with a heat seal.  Hand-tied bags with a bow are available for an additional $0.50/bag.  Standard/Custom Cookie sets for local pickup/delivery come individually heat sealed and packaged in a white gift box with a clear window + bow.  Silver gift tins with a window are available upon request for an additional charge.  

 

How are the cookies priced?

Each cookie is hand-painted by a member of the Dear Liza’s team so cookies are priced according to the level of detail and the number of colors required.  Cookies start at $6.50 and can go up to $10+ depending on the design. Details such as writing, gold/silver accents, custom shapes, etc. will increase the price per cookie slightly.  Please contact us directly for a detailed price quote.  

 

Can you make custom shaped cookies?

Yes!  Any shape you can think of, we can make it for you!  Just submit a photo along with your contact form of what you’re looking for and we will have a custom cookie cutter made specifically for your design!  Should your order require a custom cutter that can be used for ONLY your order, there will be a $10/cutter fee (you get to keep the cutter)

 

Are your products nut free?

YES, all Dear Liza’s products are nut free!  However, they are made in a facility that may contain nuts so please keep that in mind when ordering 

 

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

Cookies/Desserts are custom made to order so cancellations must be made at least 10 days prior to the date needed for a FULL refund.  If custom cutters or edible images have already been ordered, you will still be charged for those.  Refunds unfortunately cannot be offered for orders cancelled WITHIN 10 days of the date needed.
